Welcome to ePlantae!.
This is a blog devoted to the study of plants. I want to share applications, books, articles, and other resources related with plants.
I wanted to create this blog because I think botany can only grow if we work in collaboration.
The plants are so diverse that we have to study a lot, we know that many plants are endangered of extinction and we are in a struggle for the conservation of many of them. So it is our responsability to guarantee a better botany to help in the decision making in our local governments and agencies.
Luckily, the knowledge democratization is helping us to get the information we need at a faster pace, unfortunately it is dispersed in many different sites and it is not reaching their focal public of interest. My objective is to provide all the free resources that I find and also I will appreciate any information that you can provide me.
I am going to try to write my posts in English and Spanish, and some in Portuguese. My idea is to open a space of collaboration between the students, researchers and general public that are interested in the plants, specially from the tropics.
I'm open to your suggestions and comments. Write to this email eplantae1@gmail.com or directly below the posts.
